Auli

This post is about a place called Auli in India, and it also has many ski resorts. I just went there for a vacation two weeks ago and it was great. The ski resorts are highly equipped with world class ski lifts and skis. There are also many viewpoints there like Gorson hill. At Gorson hill, you will be able to see 5 very important peaks and they all have heights above 7000 meters. The mountains seen from there are Nanda Devi, Kamet, Elephant- Horse peak, The lotus and the Dronagiri. This place is also located very near the UNESCO world heritage site called the Nanda Devi biosphere and the valley of flowers. Though it comes with an 8 hour drive from any city, the journey is still not very bad unless you suffer from acrophobia or motion sickness I will soon be uploading a video in my YouTube channel showing pictures of all the mountains together . I recommend you to go there. You can also reach to nearby places by helicopter but not to Auli. There is a ropeway connection from Auli to joshimath too!
