Watches

Watches have been in fashion ever since the first world war and  at least will remain in fashion till the end of the 21st century. They began as regular portable miniature clocks but now they include chronographs, water resistance, games (at times) and other features. Earlier, watches were used because they had some utility. But now they are mostly like a piece of jewelry and are often used by businessmen to give good 'first impressions' to their clients. The most expensive watch in the world currently is the 'chopard 210 karat' priced at $26 Million approx.  Way back in time, sundials were used instead of watches .Though watches today are not of much use, people buy them because it adds up to their 'fashion quotient'.
