multiplying numbers by 11

Multiplying numbers by 11 is very easy . if you do 11 x 6 you will get sixty six and if it is 11 x 5 you will get fifty five etc....

Multiplying two digit numbers by 11

this is also very easy, suppose the sum is 27 x 11

add the digits 2 and 7 to get 9 and put 9 in the middle of 27 so your answer will be 297 . Ok , now here is another example 35 x 11 . now add 3 and 5 to get 8 , now put 8 in the middle of  3 and 5 to get 385. So basically you will have to find the sum of the two digit number and put it in the middle of those digits to get the product .
